Charlie Dittmeier, Barbara DaCosta
One of the advantage of conferences is running into old friends. Barbara DaCosta and Charlie Dittmeier have known each other for more than twenty years from the days when Charlie was going regularly to Singapore to work with the deaf group there.

Most of the conference was held at the linguistics building at Chinese University but on the second day we walked to the Run Run Shaw Theater on campus for a different kind of presentation.

Presentation by St. John Primary School
At the Run Run Shaw Theater, the St. John the Baptist Primary School offered an excellent dramatic presentation of their experience of welcoming deaf students to their school to create what is known as the "co-enrolment model" of deaf education.
